![]() There is enough visual information in these pictures, based on the speaker diameter to estimate the correct size of the cabinet. For a 24" baffle, the outside cab width will be 25.5", which is just a hair smaller than the AC30 cab and nearly consistent with what you report are the correct dimensions. If you are going for a pair of 10" speakers, I think you'll do just fine with a 24" wide baffle (easy multiple for standard 4' x 8' ply) and I'd shoot for building around that dimension. An 8' board is 96" and after you square it properly it still has enough for you to cut the 4 boards you'll need for the basic box. Just go with that in 1" (really 0.75") thick lumber and I predict it will work out just fine. This AC30 Custom is now available in an elegant two-tone color model in black and maroon. One of the archetypal models from VOX, the AC30 is a guitar amp that defined an era during the rise of the British invasion. As you know, a 10" board is really 9.25". The AC30 Custom leads with VOX’s legendarily brilliant top end sound, and is a perfect match for every playing style. If I were doing it, I wouldn't sweat too much about the exact dimensions.
